The Global Media Forum (GMF) of Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster is one of the foremost international media conferences in Europe. The theme in 2018 was “Global Inequalities”.  As a tradition every year Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom hosts a panel discussion during GMF. In the FNF panel “The role of journalistic start-ups in illiberal media systems” there were panellists from Serbia, India, Nigeria and the Philippines.#GMF2018
